I have been an owner since 2019 and have yet to have a good experience. I am almost certain that Westgate purposely trains their employees to give incorrect information and trick people into buying useless timeshares. When it happened to me, I was put in an extremely loud room intentionally to distract me. Every time I declined an offer from the saleswoman, the price would come down until she brought over her manager who dropped the price again. Both of them literally stood over me and repeated that I would never get the good deal again. Naturally, it was only good right then and there. When it came to the financials, I was only given the down payment and monthly mortgage amount. They deliberately did not tell me about the high interest rate or how much I was really paying once the finance charges were calculated. There is no way that contract would have been signed if I knew the price was more than double the sales price they quoted. If you were going to go with Westgate, be very careful.
