We have been suckered out of money on a property that we have been paying mortgage and HOA on and we haven't had the chance to step foot on the property as of yet. And not to mention every time we turn around they are wanting extra money for an error an agent or the system has made on their end and no way should we be held accountable for the agents or the company not ensuring that their agents were properly trained before allowing them to step out on the floor to assist owners or potential buyers? As of this month our HOA's and Mortgage were current until I received a call from a WG agent earlier today informing me that we would not be able to utilize our vacation time until it is brought to current??? When the last conversation we had with an agent he assured us that our account is current and in good standing. When I checked online we had a remaining balance of $0 shows. How is this so????? I go back and forth with the agent and the supervisor for a bit. Then I ask them to run the tape because the calls are being recorded for training and quality purposes.. Oh now they are not allowed to do that. Then wth are you recording calls for??? I kindly let the super know that I would be seeking legal counsel and contacting the BBB from this point fwd. People work hard for their money and to be given misleading information and unfulfilled promises, and horrible customer service is BAD for BUSINESS! And Westgate needs to TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY for the LIES that they are TRAINING THEIR REPS TO SELL/TELL property to customers! For the amount of MONEY INVESTED in this SCAM, we could have taken plenty of vacations to FLORIDA ON OUR OWN!!!! - I don't feel the need to be verified when you're taking my money.. Hopefully, other readers will see this and stay clear away from WESTGATE RIP OFF RESORTS
