Filled in a form online and got a valuation that was surprisingly fair - I had expected probably 10-20% less. Staff on the phone were friendly and helpful. The driver/inspector who actually picked up the bike was a decent guy. There was a bit of disagreement about the state of the rear tyre (passed MoT a month and 20 miles previously with no advisories, but now apparently worn to the limit) but we came to a reasonable compromise of £50 off the valuation. They had offered me the instant payment option free of charge, so this sort of balanced out. The driver sorted out payment by bank transfer and loaded the bike while I was waiting for confirmation from my bank. Nice touch, he gave me the van keys while he did it so he couldn’t drive away before I had been paid. Payment came through in a couple of minutes and it was all done. I hate selling vehicles, especially bikes, but this was about as painless as it could be. Fair price, hassle-free, quick. Would recommend.
