Here is the response I sent them after I couldn't record my steps for 3 days and all i did was log out and log back in. All they keep on sending me are canned responses telling me there was fraud so the entire account was shut down. This is likely a canned response and no human. After diligently recording for over 330 days and waiting to cash out until I accumulated 10,000 this is incredibly disappointing and I highly recommend to people to not use this app. Here is my email that got the canned response: Hello,I am writing to respectfully request a manual review of the permanent restriction placed on my WeWard account.I understand that your systems detected activity that was flagged as irregular. However, I would like to clarify that I have never knowingly used WeWard in a way that violates the terms of service, nor have I attempted to manipulate step counts or rewards. After I was unable to convert my steps for several days (and sent notes to WeWard noting the problem), I simply tried to log out and log back in when I got a message stating what I did was fraudulent. If the activity was caused by a technical issue, device change, synchronization behavior, or misunderstanding of normal usage patterns, I would sincerely appreciate the opportunity for a human review of the data that led to this decision. Given that I have been using WeWard daily for over 330 days which required commitment and at times cost, I believe I deserve the respect of an uncanned human response given that this means I will lose over 5,500 wewards and many collected cards. To be clear because WeWard believes that I am acting fraudulently I am losing a cash value of over $80 which I have earned and I do not take lightly when asked by others to comment or recommend WeWards value.I fully respect WeWard’s responsibility to protect the community and prevent abuse.However given their was no abuse I’m aware of, at the same time, I am asking whether a manual audit could confirm whether this flag may have been applied in error.If reinstatement is absolutely not possible, I would still appreciate confirmation of whether this decision was made following a human review or solely through automated detection. And I request that my wewards that were awarded to me prior to this glitch be returned to me so I cash out. Thank you for your time and consideration.
