I care who I buy from, even though I am product centric and generally know what I want. Doing research to ensure reliable performance from my work tools. Mistakes are costly in time. Buying from a company I trust, that has good communication and an ethos I like, not just has the products at a low price.
This time it paid off. Unusually there were a couple minor glitches. Neither of Wex's fault. My delivery guy was sick and the communication from the delivery company was crap. Being a high value Item I called Wex to check on it. Which was great as they sorted it. The second thing that happened is that the power cable had a fault and I could not get any power at all. Needing to get that sorted fast, just to make sure all was working because I didn't want to send the whole thing back, I bought a cable myself. Also upped the speck to white to match a movable oak and white floor stand to blend in. Which worked a treat, so was a happy accident. Decided to let Wex know in case other customers encounter a similar issue. And they refunded me £10 which was unexpected proving once again what a great supplier they are as after sales in a lot of other companies really sucks.
