Extremely disappointing experience – I do not recommend Wheeling. Would love to give 0 stars!I subscribed to Wheeling late April, received my bike first May 6 and cancelled within the legal 14-day EU withdrawal period after receiving a bike that was simply not up to standard.It arrived with a broken battery, a flat tire, and couldn’t even reach the advertised range or speed.- I struggled to complete my 40 km daily commute, even on assist levels 3–5.- The bike topped out at 16–17 km/h. Asking for a replacement of the battery via their extreme slow customer service via telefon lead to a discussion when they would come with a new battery and some passive aggressive SMS around the return of the battery which I did.I returned the bike on May 16 and clearly cancelled in writing the day before. Despite this, Wheeling refused to accept the cancellation, citing hidden clauses in their terms that were never properly explained. They went on to charge me again after the bike was returned. You cannot remove your payment information on their website. I’ve since received automated payment reminders and threats of debt collection (inkasso) – even though they have the bike and I paid for the entire time I had it. I payed now 587 DKK for April when I returned the bike, for May a whooping 868 DKK because of them threatening me with Inkasso and another 668 DKK for June. For a broken bike I had for 11 days!Customer service has been slow, dismissive, and unhelpful, and in the end simply not replying. They are ignoring both legal rights and common sense. It’s honestly shocking how poorly this has been handled.I’ve now filed complaints with the Danish Consumer Complaints Board and European Consumer Centre.⚠️ My advice: Avoid this company. There are better and more honest alternatives. Happy to have switched to Swapfiets!
