I have used Kitchen Aide products in all my houses (including rentals) for 15 years. This is the first time I’ve experienced Whirlpool service and it’s horrible. Whirlpool technical staff advised the company that was repairing my refrigerator to install the wrong circuit board ($486). It did not fix the problem. They then advised replacing a second board ($411). I called Whirlpool service, got disconnected 2 times. The third time I spoke with a helpful representative (Jasmine) who explained the situation to two separate supervisors. The supervisors misunderstood my complaint, refused to talk with me, and would not give me their names. If this is typical Whirlpool service, they just lost tens of thousands of dollars in future revenue. All I wanted was to be reimbursed for costs that were a direct result of their technical departments poor technical directions…. The replacement of the first board.
