I bought a Whirlpool dishwasher in October 2017 Model WDTA50SAHZ. Required service in the first six months, mother board issue. Then required service in 2021 because it was leaking. Then discover the top rack was damaged. The rolling mechanism that allows the rack to be pulled out so it can be emptied had one of the wheels broken (cheap plastic of course). So, I called the company's customer service department, and they directed me to the parts department which was a nightmare. Trying to speak with someone directly is like navigating a labyrinth. Ordered the parts and it took more than two months because the parts were on back order. Went to change the parts and they are now made of stainless steel and not cheap plastic, shocker! Great! However, the parts do not fit properly. It appears Whirlpool is using a generic footprint for their dishwashers, and I guess hoping the parts will fit all their models and hopefully work good enough. Bottom line, I will never purchase another whirlpool product again and I will never recommend anyone else do so either. The product quality is not what I expected. What a nightmare. I will now have to purchase a new dishwasher. Lesson well learned.Todd Clark
