Special ordered a Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator in June 26, 2022. It was delivered on Saturday, July 9, 2022. A week and half later it stopped cooling. Had the certified repair person out the last week of July and he had to order 3 parts. The technician received 2 parts and realized the 1 part was the wrong one, and sent it back, so only has 1 part of the 3 he ordered. He still hasn't received the other 2 parts. We called Whirlpool, and the customer service rep, who won't give her name and was very, very RUDE, said she couldn't help us. We call the technician's office, and the office gal called Whirlpool and got the same run-around. The repair office called their district representative from Whirlpool, and she said that she would look into it personally and what we are told is that the parts are in some shipping container somewhere. They claim they don't have any tracking numbers to see exactly where the parts are. In the mean time, we are buying 2 bags of ice every 7-10 days, unplugging the refrigerator for 24 hours and then plugging it back in and letting it cool down for 8-12 hours before we can put our food back in the freezer and refrigerator. With the price of food now a days and the amount of food this refrigerator has spoiled, Whirlpool should refund my money. I would have thought Whirlpool would have straightened up in 22 years, since I went round and round with them about a washer and dryer and finally brought a Maytag and had that for years. I wouldn't recommend Whirlpool appliances to anyone. I will never buy a Whirlpool appliance again.
