After less than a year, the freezer started going out and while I was waiting a couple of weeks for their repair man to come, the refrigerator stopped working. He came and diagnosed compressor going out and said they couldn't do anything because they don't work on those. Then I got a call saying this same repair company ordered the part and it's in back order! After a week of waiting longer, I called whirlpool and complained that I'm going on 2 months without a refrigerator and my part is on back order and can we just exchange it for a new one?! 2 months!!! They said they'd look into it and then emailed me saying that as soon as that part comes in, that company will be here to repair my fridge!! Seriously?! 2 months! What good is a warranty if at first the company claims they don't do compressors and then your customers are going weeks without their appliance because the company won't just request a new fridge since my parts on back order?? You want your customers to be satisfied with their purchase, but then don't care that they're without the item they purchased only because it turned to junk after only 9 months? this customer would throw the fridge out the window if I didn't over pay for it!
