Enrolled in a credit repair program with White, Jacobs and associates which was supposed to be a 6 month process. I had 50 negative remarks on my report and was promised they could get all if not most removed. I was asked to pay a monthly fee + non contingent fee over 6 months totaling close to $2k. Their first round would begin after my first payment. It has now been 11 months. They are still sending additional disputes beyond their 4 rounds. I have seen 4 removals that are legitimate but no material change in my scores. I have also received a lawsuit from one creditor they were disputing (I was told they would recommend settling if that was the only round so imagine my shock when I got served with a lawsuit).
I received one of the dispute letters they sent on my behalf which was full of lies - this was returned to sender and came to me as WJA puts my info on all outreach. All in all, my credit is worse than it was when I started and the money I paid them could’ve gone to settling with a creditor.
They have now completely ghosted me since December and ignored several emails.
