It was BAD. I called and informed Wilbanks shippers instead of $100 charge for priority 1 day air they should ship 2 day air (half the cost). Because I have 2 sons working at airport where snake arrived & they could get package as soon as it arrived with second day priority. Wilbanks said NO. All critters have to be priority one day delivery. So we went with that… here’s what happened… The plane came in to Anchorage- then ball python got loaded on a truck and driven 200 mi south to Soldotna. Then snake went to another truck & driven 70 miles further south to Homer, 30 miles past my house on the highway. Then instead of delivery to my house(what I paid over $100 for) FedEx txts me the nxt day and said there holding package 5 days before returning. I jumped in my car and drove 30 miles south to HOMER FedEx building at the airport. It was about three in the afternoon. There was a small sign on the door that said they were shortstaffed and so they closed early. So I waited for the fourth day until they opened in the morning, and I was there, and I finally got the package. All this could’ve been avoided. Had you done today priority mail we would’ve got it when it came down in Anchorage, three days earlier.
