Disappointing Ribeye Experience

We purchased ribeye steaks at a location in the city, and it turned out to be the worst steak I've ever encountered. It was filled with unchewable, extremely tough tissue and had very dry meat in between. My husband is a skilled cook who always handles meat exceptionally well, so we were taken aback by the poor quality of this relatively pricey cut.

Extremely disappointing experience!

I placed my order six days prior to Thanksgiving, thinking I had ample time to avoid any holiday stress. I received updates from the support team, but I was unable to finalize my delivery. The driver marked my order as picked up on the tracker, and then… nothing. It never arrived. When frozen meat doesn't make it to the customer, it raises concerns about the product's handling. This situation was frustrating, especially when ordering for a holiday meal. I've had much better experiences with other online retailers where the meat arrives as promised, handled properly, and the process is straightforward. This wasn't just a minor issue; it turned into a significant headache I didn't need during the holidays. I won't be ordering again.

Poor delivery service

The delivery service was inadequate. During the first delivery, they forgot part of our order, and instead of rectifying the situation, they just removed the charge for the missing items. On the second delivery, they left the package at the wrong address on the sidewalk. When contacted, the driver refused to correct his mistake. The company didn't attempt to resolve the issue either, stating they would issue a credit in 7-10 days for a $300 order. Very disappointing service.

Misled with subpar products

I feel scammed with low-quality meat. I spent $150 on a product that was misrepresented, and I received minimal compensation for my order. The company claimed to have a nearby store, which turned out to be false. They refused to refund more than $16 for an order of inferior meat that was packed a year ago. The obscurity of this company's operations makes it hard for regular consumers to trace the source of their food.

Unwanted membership fees

During my first online purchase, I was offered free delivery without realizing that it came with a membership I never agreed to. I received an email about a subscription I didn’t sign up for. When I requested a refund, customer service informed me that their policy does not allow for refunds, which contradicts their own cancellation policy. This was an unauthorized subscription I never wanted. Be cautious of this trap.

Quality leaves much to be desired

The food primarily comes from overseas suppliers and is of low quality. Even the domestic seafood isn't fresh. Be cautious if you decide to purchase from them; the quality is no better than what you would find at a discount retailer.

Mixed experience with ground duck

I purchased a package of ground duck, and while the flavor was excellent, I found ground bone in almost every other bite. Most pieces were small, but there were larger bits that could pose a risk to elderly family members. I cannot recommend this product and won't be buying it again.

Delivery experience was frustrating

I made a purchase and was informed it would be delivered between 9 AM and 11 AM. I waited since 8:30 AM for safety, specifying the 'side door' for delivery. At noon, I called the store for an update and was informed by a passerby that my package was left on the front steps in the sun! I attempted to file a complaint on their website, but it wasn't functional. I haven't tried the food yet!
