I asked Wilford Smith to act on my behalf to do conveyancing on my property. I thought I would deal with people in the UK but it appears they get people from outside of the UK to handle all the work, to obtain ID verification, ask for passports, biometrics, driving licence etc.I wanted to see and I asked to see their ID's and proof of their identity to reassure myself to which they refused. This apparently is too much to ask but they must understand that trust works both ways. The Wilford Smith people must understand that these days clients need reassurance as this is business and much money is involved, everyone needs to trust each other if they want to do business with each other. I just felt very uncomfortable.
