I have had a number of transactions with Wilson’s Auctions Dublin and can give you my Honest opinion/review.Firstly the deposit is a complete scam as I have waited months at times for it to be returned to my bank account.I have attended many on site auctions to see slippery Ricky and other auctioneers mislead and take fictitious bids from the wall or floor. All cars, trucks, and vans have a non disclosed reserve price on them so it’s a complete waste of time. Not only are you bidding against phone bidders, on line bidders, floor bidders, auctioneers fictitious wall bidders but you have the non disclosure reserve to exceed to be successful. The odds are very much stacked against you to get yourself a bargain.Just watch how many previous so called sold vehicles go up week after week for auction in following auctions. If you are successful in bidding you have the shock of very dubious vat charges on the hammer price along with auction fees +vat surcharge, administration charge, cash handling charge, program/ catalog charge and the hassle to get your deposit back and vehicle documentation. With such questionable practices I can’t understand how this auction house has an auctioneer license not to mention carry out auctions on behalf of the state bodies and some very reputable car main dealers.Avoid before you pay far too much for pure dissatisfaction and disappointment.I have gone to auctions all over Ireland and in the uk and this one takes the biscuit for sure.
