Unfortunately, it was far from satisfactory and caused us significant distress. From the outset, the delivery team was rude and uncooperative. Despite there being clear and convenient parking directly outside our flats, they chose to park further away and then seemed irritated by the extra distance they had to walk. This was entirely avoidable and immediately set a negative tone for the delivery as we said they could move they said we haven’t got time ( yet the time to walk with item would have been longer) The headboard was not wrapped, and we had not been informed it needed to be as it was exchange delivery, We offered to quickly remove our new headboard if they bring it down and pack the old one into the box for return, but the drivers refused as they would have to wait, despite the process taking no longer than the time it took them to go back for the second box as they parked so far. There were three large boxes in total, so it was clear they had time while retrieving them but they showed no willingness to accommodate our reasonable request. We explained the urgency and our personal circumstances: I am currently undergoing treatment for serious health issues, and we have a toddler at home. Without the return, we were left without a usable bed. Despite this, their response was dismissive and lacked any empathy or flexibility. They just walked away rudely and said oh well, we can’t wait. It was evident from the moment they arrived that they were unwilling to help. When my friend suggested they move the van closer, they declined, even though doing so would have made the delivery easier for everyone involved, and saved time so contradicts the fact they “couldn’t wait” This experience has left us extremely disappointed. We expect better service especially when we’re dealing with essential household items and just from humans is general! I’ve never meet men who would be happy to leave women and a toddler like that even when neighbours offered help to! Really concerning that people are so desperate to not do jobs now a days. Just lack of any human decency. I appreciate the headboard should have been ready now that what expected but at the same time, as a human other than these two men, I don’t know anyone who would be in the same situation and be so horrible, rude and difficult when a clear easy solution was there.Seems workers for this company want to do as bare minimum as possible and lack any integrity. I now have a painful week or two weeks depending how long can get redelivered whilst having treatment sleeping on the floor with a 3 year old. Is this really what we have become as humans, is this really how we leave people, it’s quite frankly sad that anyone has the ability to leave someone like that.M6D142642-R1_2P
