I contacted these back in June after a rear quarter panel had been smashed. The insurance company firm couldn’t get the correct part but as I was now paying . I was assured on the call “ they would NEVER send a wrong part out to do a job,,! All seemed to go well until engineers arrival next day.. “ WRONG “ window was sent. Ther said I would get a callback to return tomorrow’ it’s just a car love” was the advice I was left.It’s actually my lifeline due to health conditions but thank you for your concern. There never arrived nor did they contact me. it was only after I chased it up I was then told . They had run over shift & would come another time. It was only on checking my bank I could see they had charged me. Admittedly it was immediately refunded after I’d pointed it out . Yet it show never happen.This continues a further twice before I get to speak to the initial bloke who had said they never sent the wrong parts out. Alls good…. Surely it can’t happen again…I have an email to confirm the visit and another from a staff member asking me to call them…I rang only to be told they couldn’t get hold of the part & I WOULD NEED to go via VW & sort myself.This could have been sorted on 20 June instead of 3rd July. with a simple sorry we can’t locate the part…If I go to VW the window will cost more that the value of the car…..Used part sourced from Steven’s VWspares…. Just need to find a man that can,,,Do yourself & your sanity a favour .. Avoid Wilkinson Windscreens Ltd masquerading as Windscreen replacement services.
