I ordered a gift card for my fiancée. Due to being in a rush during checkout, I forgot to add a personal message. This was my mistake, but it’s a very human and common one.
About one hour after placing the order, I contacted customer support to ask if the message could be added. The response I received was “no, the card is already being processed”, even though not even a couple of hours had passed since the purchase.
After that, I asked about a refund, and again the answer was simply no, with no alternatives or willingness to help.
The support agent who replied to me was Natalia. Unfortunately, she appeared incompetent and completely unwilling to meet the customer halfway. There was no flexibility, no attempt to understand the situation, and no customer-oriented approach at all.
I am giving this system a bad rating, because it does not take the human factor into account at all. People make mistakes, especially when buying gifts in a hurry.
