My experience with WINNS Solicitors was deeply disappointing from start to finish. Over the course of two years, I had to call them weekly just to get basic updates. My case handler changed four times, and each time I had to start again, repeating information and pushing them to take action — including chasing them for a court date.
They didn’t know how to calculate my loss of earnings or even the correct compensation for whiplash. The defendant’s solicitor had to correct their figures, which is unacceptable. On the day of court, my solicitor arrived visibly unwell and completely unfamiliar with my case. She spent almost an hour on her laptop trying to gather information while the judge waited. She even asked if I had fractured my arm, which I never had. I was not briefed on what to expect in court, leaving me unprepared and vulnerable. As a result, I was interrogated by the defendant’s solicitor, which was extremely distressing.
When the judge finally awarded compensation, WINNS then took eight days past the judge’s deadline to even request the release of funds. Once again, I had to chase them with multiple calls.
This entire experience left me upset, unsupported, and frustrated. I would never use WINNS Solicitors again and cannot recommend them based on my experience.
