Terrible customer service experience

I changed my contract and was charged fully for a SIM that was canceled. When I tried to discuss this with customer service, I was connected to an extremely rude representative who insisted, 'the invoice is printed, you must pay it.' It seems invoices can't be adjusted. I plan to file a complaint with consumer protection and seek a new provider once my contract ends.
