Out of cash I was ignoring the many warnings that everybody already made about this provider. I signed up for a cheap option ahead of my arrival to Germany, so that the care would be activated as I come. But the card never arrived. So I contacted support and asked for another. They said I would have to be patient because shipping could take up to 7 days (although at that point I was waiting for more than that already. All other mail arrived flawlessly). At that point they had already billed me the sim card activation fee. Then the second card didn’t arrive either. So I contacted them again. Since then I have just been ignored. I cancelled my contract, but still got a message that they wondered why I had blocked them from accessing my bank account for the monthly bills and refunded the original bill. Of course when it’s about money they spring into action, you would think, right? The only option they give to resolve this issue is to call them. How ironic. So I had to wait for the arrival and activation of a card bought by the competition to even refute their claims. And when I did finally call, at 4pm, they said “due to maintenance we can’t access customer data, so we’ll only answer general inquiries, please call back in the afternoon”. None of which makes sense, of course, unless it’s a literal scam. I’ve dealt with german internet providers many times and this is the only one that doesn’t just suck but actually scam you. I’m now collecting all the correspondence as I await a fricking legal letter or something. Horrendous.
