I received a bill of 2555 euros from winsim because i accidentally put my phone on in the airplane for one minute. I try to contact them online since I am in Mexico, but their contact form does not send (tried on 2 android devices and 1 IPhone) and they don't reply on their mails... Read correspondence below for more info about my case. Please don't call me Winsim, I am abroad and only able to answer via mail. AVOID THIS COMPANYDear,Could you please confirm you received my email below? Since this concerns a lot of money which your company wants to charge me unrightfully, I would appreciate a prompt reply. On top of that, I want to request exact time, duration and exact data usage which you claim I Any additional info about which app or website that would be responsible is also appreciated.„I am shocked to receive your message . It is correct that I accidentally turned on my data on my phone in the airplane when I tried to connect to the airplane‘s WIFI. However I realized within one minute and during that time I did not download or updated anything but just viewed 1 picture of reduced size online. I quickly realized my mistake and switched my phone to airplane mode. Therefore it is impossible you get a total sum of 2555 euros, which would mean I used 77,6 Mb!! Next to that it is ridiculous that your company would not send a warning message when a device connects to a foreign expensive network, because I am sure there are more people who made mistakes like this. Therefore I do not agree to pay the sum requested. Kind regards,Anna Rafeeva“
