I bought a restored phone through an online marketplace and received it on December 1st. I planned to give it as a gift, but found it to be faulty. The phone couldn’t handle calls; all I heard was static. After taking it to a service center, I learned the speaker was defective. I was advised to return it for a refund. However, dealing with the vendor became incredibly frustrating. They had no contact number, no agent names, and responses took too long. Each interaction required detailed emails, only to receive automated replies saying they’d respond in 48 hours. When they finally did, they asked for information I had already provided. Even after confirming the phone had been reset, they continued delaying the process. I received a return label only after many follow-ups. The phone was returned promptly, with delivery confirmation, yet no refund has been issued. Now, the vendor has both the phone and my money. I had to reach out to the marketplace for help. Even after they contacted the vendor, the responses remained vague and unhelpful. As of December 29th, nearly a month later, I still have not received my refund. This reflects a serious lack of transparency and customer service. I strongly caution anyone considering a purchase from this seller.
