Over all having WISE is a blessing however, I'm currently in India and fast discovered that the max £200 month limit is woefully low if you're staying longer than 2 weeks and Coastal businesses want cash - not card and when they take card they want to charge around 3.5% on top.
I love the availability of being able to pay via india's UPI , but many businesses use a QR CODE , meanwhile iphones or browsers doesn't give you the option of the use of the WiSE app when faced with a UPI QR code, and the WISE app doesn't have the functionality of scanning a UPI QR Code from the UPI option either , so you're expected to type out the business's UPI code :-/
The ability to import a QRCode seems to only exist if I open my own payme profile? and I'm not convinced it would work that way either.
FUN FACT: KFC Varkala uses UPI QR Codes
Reply: I never said anything about WISE being a UPI wallet, WISE DOES Allow me to pay someone or a business via UPI ... the annoying BS make no sense part is the insistence of an invoice number. It's stupid because typically an invoice numyis issued aftrr payment and the payment can't happen until an invoice number is provided.
If upi payment isn't going to be easy to use from the WISE app - maybe it shouldn't br there?
