I'm unsure whether to hold the phone horizontally or vertically. Does it really make a difference? I'm confused about the back cover, front cover, and the actual document inside. Which part of my phone should be positioned above my passport? What is the appropriate distance between the phone and the passport? Also, what is the required time frame for the scanning to complete? I would appreciate more clarity on what specifically didn't function properly. It would help if the service provided a bit more technical detail for users. EDIT: After posting my initial review, it worked on subsequent attempts, so I've updated my rating to 2 stars since it does function now.
