I signed up for a cash ISA, drawn in by an appealing interest rate. However, I was overwhelmed with messages in the app insisting that my account wouldn't function correctly unless I kept my current account linked. They seem to be pushing their regular savings products, which are unrelated to my ISA, implying that I would lose access to manage my ISA without sharing my bank account details. This is misleading. At year-end, the promised bonus for keeping the ISA untouched appears to require an additional month of maintaining the account to receive the payment. During this month, the interest rate significantly decreases, negating some of the initial benefits that attracted me. I've sought clarification on this issue, but my emails have gone unanswered, including one requesting how to file a complaint. If I misunderstood the terms, it wasn't made clear when I opened the ISA, and their lack of response to my inquiries effectively prevents me from transferring my ISA. There is no available telephone support. Despite following a recommendation, I would not trust my money with this service again and plan to withdraw my funds as soon as the bonus rate is applied.
