I recently purchased a domain through Wix to connect to a website I had already created. However, after completing the purchase, it became apparent that linking the domain requires a separate premium plan.
This requirement was not clearly communicated during the purchase process. As a result, purchasing a standalone domain without a premium plan renders it unusable, particularly since the premium plan itself includes a free domain.
I believe this dependency should be made more explicit upfront to avoid confusion for customers.
