I feel completely let down and taken advantage of by Wix. I have been using their website and email services, and on my recent renewal date I was shocked to discover that they had taken £314.35 (18,265.20 TL) from my account for just one year of email subscription. I saw that the renewal date was coming, but the true cost of the renewal was not made clearly and prominently visible before the money was taken. If I had known I would be charged this much, I would never have agreed to continue.
The moment I realised what happened, on the very first day of the renewal, I tried to get help. All I received were cold, automated responses and it was impossible to reach a real human being who could actually listen and help. The only option Wix gave me was to cancel for the *next* year – there was no way to cancel this renewal immediately and no option for a refund, even though I reacted on day one. It feels like they hide behind systems and bots instead of taking responsibility for how their billing works.
Paying such a huge amount without clear warning, then being blocked from cancelling or getting a refund right away, feels deeply unfair and honestly abusive. I feel trapped, powerless and extremely disappointed that a company of this size treats loyal customers this way.
I am writing this so others do not go through the same experience. I strongly urge Wix to refund the £314.35 they have taken from me, and to change their renewal and support practices so that prices are clearly highlighted in advance, and customers who act immediately have a fair chance to cancel and get their money back.
