*** AVOID!!****MONEY GRABBER!!Only gave one star because I can't put zero.I have recently (on 27-Jul-2022) done a Service and MOT of my car at W J King.They kept my car for 5 days for service and part replacement and got an invoice of £1325.05.*** After service facing issue (Before service there as not any of these issues.) ***• Car feels the brake itself without applying brake pads.• Smells like something burning.• After the journey overheats the brake disk• Losing speed on neutral gear and with applied clutch while car at high speed.• My car slows down from 70mph to 50mph within 3 to 4 sec without brake by switching to the neutral gear.• During those 5 days, God knows what they have done with my car, after service my car feels the brake itself without applying brake pads even though the car going down to the down slop on neutral gear. Both front wheels are not spinning smoothly, the car feels like the brake pads are applied. The car smells like something burning. Car not running smoothly at all as before service has done.As per the Highway code and as per my experience, the neutral position is where there is no engagement between the wheels and the engine, and it would take you longer to slow down your car. But after service, my car slows down from 70mph to 50mph within 3 to 4 sec without brake by switching to neutral gear.(Behaviour After Service – After Grabbed Money)On the very next (28-Jul-2022) I went to the local garage where I have done my car wheels balancing and alignment work. They put the car on the rack and then span the wheels we heard a squeaking sound while spanning. With applied full force, wheels span only half a round, while there was another car its span 1 and a half round with the same force. And there were squeaking sounds as well. The same day I called the W J King service and got answers, currently, we are very busy please allowed us a couple of weeks. Then I drop an email with the video. After two days I got an appointment for my car. I went there on 01-Aug-22. I explained the issue verbally, but they told me that is not an issue its common. Me and one of their technicians went for a test drive. Meanwhile, technicians agreed that something was not right. We back to KIA’s yard and checked the other’s wheels and my car’s wheel smoothness, but the wheels of my car are not smooth as the other car. Second-time technicians agreed that it’s not common.After that technician and there was a man called Darren discussed something with each other than Darren came to test drive. But what ridiculous thing is he couldn't find anything wrong with the car even though one of their mechanic and my local garage mechanic told me there is an issue. Even the speedo meter showed that speed going down on the downside slop with neutral gear.As well I told Darren to let’s try the same thing with another car, but he hasn’t replied and did not agree with that because there was something wrong.Instead of admitting their fault, he has suggested to go another KIA dealer.
