After receiving my manuscript back, I decided to check it thoroughly in a word document for grammar and errors… it was shocking to see how much was overlooked. I’m unsure if the editors were inexperienced or what. I ended up having to edit the entire document myself and also hire someone new. It seems that if you don’t need editing at all and your material is ready for submission, this might be the right place for you. Communication was lacking, as there was no phone number available, and issues that could have been resolved in a minute took days to clarify via email. I emailed my concerns multiple times, but I received no reply. The representative was responsive during the initial setup, but that changed quickly. This process has been very frustrating. I just don’t understand how, in this day and age, there’s no customer service phone line. Best of luck if you choose to use them.
