Mi experiencia con el servicio fue mixta. Los precios son razonables y las respuestas son muy puntuales. Cuando pido algo muy sencillo, todo marcha bien. Sin embargo, si surge alguna necesidad de explicación o tengo una pregunta, las cosas se complican. Mi proyecto podría haberse completado en cuatro semanas, pero en su lugar tomó cuatro meses. El costo se duplicó porque tuve que pagar por cosas múltiples veces. Una simple llamada telefónica habría ahorrado semanas y dinero en varias ocasiones. El servicio parece no poder diferenciar entre un autor principiante como yo y un autor experimentado que comprende todo el proceso. Sinceramente, creo que el agente que me atendió podría ser un chatbot en lugar de un humano real. My experience with the service was a blend of positives and negatives. It is reasonably priced and the responses were prompt. Straightforward requests were handled smoothly, but when I had questions or needed clarification, things became complicated. My project could have been finished in four weeks, but it ended up taking four months, and costs doubled due to multiple payments. A simple phone call could have saved weeks and money on several occasions. The service seems unable to differentiate between a novice author like myself and an experienced one familiar with the process. I genuinely suspect that the representative assisting me might be an AI chatbot rather than a real person. I would be okay with this if there were an option to speak with a human when issues arise.
My journey with the service was regrettably frustrating from beginning to end. I provided a complete 361-page manuscript with specific instructions: I wanted it formatted for compliance without altering my design, spacing, fonts, or image placement—only the necessary adjustments for technical requirements. Yet, the formatting team consistently modified elements I explicitly requested they leave unchanged, including font sizes, margins, spacing, image placement, image proportions, table of contents style, heading hierarchy, and even drastically reduced the total page count. I found myself sending numerous emails to correct changes I never requested. Several drafts returned with glaring errors, some worse than the previous versions. This extended the project timeline far beyond what it should have been. Despite the team's assertions that they were following my guidelines, the drafts repeatedly indicated otherwise. I felt compelled to scrutinize every page meticulously to ensure nothing had been altered anew. Near the end, I finally received a version that was somewhat aligned with my requests, but only after a long and exhausting back-and-forth process that should not have been necessary. The service might suit simpler projects, but if you have a detailed manuscript and expect design precision or strict adherence to instructions, I would strongly advise seeking another option. I will not be returning.
I had previously used this service three times with satisfaction, but this year has been a complete nightmare. I requested the conversion of my 369-page manuscript into an eBook, which was already published in paperback. It contained numerous figures, photos, and references. Upon the first revision, I noticed several issues: 1) the author's name was missing from the first page, 2) entire sentences were omitted multiple times, and 3) the figures and photos were blurry, lacking the sharpness of the original manuscript. The conversion from Word to ePub was poorly executed. I returned it immediately for corrections. After ten days, I received a second revision. The author's name was restored, but the missing sentences remained unaddressed. It took them a full month to rectify their mistakes. Clearly, the person handling my manuscript lacked the necessary expertise. They never apologized for the delays or the poor quality of their work. My advice is to seek another company for assistance. This experience was definitely not satisfactory.

After receiving my manuscript back, I decided to check it thoroughly in a word document for grammar and errors… it was shocking to see how much was overlooked. I’m unsure if the editors were inexperienced or what. I ended up having to edit the entire document myself and also hire someone new. It seems that if you don’t need editing at all and your material is ready for submission, this might be the right place for you. Communication was lacking, as there was no phone number available, and issues that could have been resolved in a minute took days to clarify via email. I emailed my concerns multiple times, but I received no reply. The representative was responsive during the initial setup, but that changed quickly. This process has been very frustrating. I just don’t understand how, in this day and age, there’s no customer service phone line. Best of luck if you choose to use them.
