We had the most incredible time on a four-day tour of Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Naivasha (plus Hell’s Gate National Park) and Amboseli National Park, with James as our guide! Everything went perfectly - from the moment we started planning the trip with Purity to the moment we were dropped back in Nairobi! Purity made it easy, stress-free and exciting to organise the trip - allowing us to create our very own personalised adventure! She met us at our hotel for pick up and left us in the hands of our brilliant guide, James! James was fantastic - so friendly, kind, knowledgeable and experienced! You could tell he genuinely wanted us to have the best possible time - making sure we saw as many of the animals as possible, from various viewpoints and at various times across the day! We were very lucky to see so much of the wildlife and up close! The photos we took are amazing because James knew exactly when and where to stop! We must also mention what a skilled driver James is!! Highlights were seeing rhinos on multiple occasions and up close in Nakuru (to complete the Big Five!); bird and hippo watching on Lake Naivasha; cycling next to zebras in Hell’s Gate; driving through Amboseli National Park at sunset with Mount Kilimanjaro as the backdrop, and being right next to elephants crossing the road - we were in awe! Everyone we met was so welcoming, warm and generous - we loved our time on Lake Naivasha with David, and thoroughly enjoyed our conversations and jokes with Nick in Hell’s Gate! Every place we stayed in was excellent - everyone was lovely and the food was delicious! Never did we think we’d have hippos in the front garden!!!
