I've been involved with this game since its beta phase, which was over ten years ago, and it just keeps getting worse with each update. The developers seem to cater to entitled behavior. The toxic community reports players for any reason, regardless of how they choose to play. Higher-tier players often get frustrated if lower tiers don't take the initiative and draw fire for them. The state of the ships is appalling. If you voice your concerns, you receive dismissive responses like 'get better' or 'it's a skill issue', even when you're facing tier 10 ships in a tier 8 vessel, making you feel like mere cannon fodder. Your battleship may have 58k health while opponents boast 80k, better guns, longer range, and thicker armor, yet you're expected to compete. The developers enable those who misuse the reporting system, allowing them to report players for trivial reasons. If you upset someone, they report you; if you don’t follow their directions, you get reported. The developers do little to address this abuse, often punishing the wrong players. Additionally, the so-called 'premium' ships are often no better than free options, despite costing a significant amount, leaving you feeling cheated. At this point, it seems foolish to continue playing, and spending money only feeds the issue. The company should face legal consequences for its practices; it’s that serious.
