Having played since the beta in 2014, I have significant experience and high stats, which allow me to provide an informed review. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times to check for improvements, but nothing ever changes for the better; it consistently worsens. The game is essentially a time sink. Match outcomes depend heavily on the skill of players on your team, overshadowing everything else. Players who know how to operate their ships can easily defeat less skilled players, regardless of ship tiers. The matchmaking system heavily favors paying players, making it hard for skilled non-paying players to maintain a good win rate. The high loss rate is frustrating, especially since many matches feature teams with unskilled players. It’s believed that many of these players are bots, which further skews the game in favor of one team. In essence, this game feels rigged, leading to a player base that consists mostly of unskilled individuals. The experience is fundamentally unsatisfying.
