I strongly advise anyone to think twice before using WorldRemit.
A transaction of $200 (Transaction #447941676) was sent on 1st April 2026 from South Africa to Zimbabwe, and to this day the funds have not been delivered to the intended recipient.
Despite raising Case #22149713, there has been no resolution, no clear explanation, and no accountability. This is extremely concerning for a company handling people’s money.
Delays are one thing — but completely failing to deliver funds while holding onto a customer’s money is unacceptable. The lack of communication only makes matters worse.
This experience has been frustrating and stressful, and it raises serious concerns about the reliability of their service.
If this issue is not resolved immediately, I will be escalating the matter further to the Financial Ombudsman Service and other relevant authorities.
