They tried to upsell me flights that were all the same price when I checked on sky scanner- no matter what time I picked. I am requesting a FULL REFUND with immediate effect otherwise I will keep writing reviews and warn others as well as reporting it to the ombudsman. The hotel I was given was nothing like the one advertised - far lower quality and nowhere near the same standard or value or location. This is a clear misrepresentation. The deal also promised 60 hours at the destination, yet my allocated flights only gave me 58 hours if that. The terms say this can be disregarded for regional airports, but I was flying from Manchester International Airport, so this should not apply.When I tried to change the unsuitable flights, I was quoted almost £200, and when I asked to extend my stay by one extra day (which the website suggests should cost around £50 if i was to make a brand new booking). I was again told it would be nearly £200. These prices are completely inconsistent with what Wowcher advertises or what the flights/hotel would cost otherwise. I also found the “alternative” hotel myself at a much cheaper price than the one Wowcher tried to charge me, proving the deal is nowhere near the 50% discount they claim and it’s overpriced.Overall, this has been a highly disappointing and frustrating experience. Wowcher’s advertising is misleading, the deal was not as described, and the additional costs are unreasonable. I cannot recommend them and will not be booking through Wowcher again if this is not resolved with me recieving a full refund.
