Bought a travel voucher for Malta for 3 nights on the 27th of March. We could not redeem the voucher for the first 2 days. Travel Odeal then got in contact saying the holiday was no longer available but still redeemed the voucher for us. They offered us Belfast for an extra £90pp. We said no and cancelled the holiday. We paid through Klarna and they are refusing a refund or a cancellation. Absolute joke would never go through them again. Had to pay an extra £500 to go somewhere else with a separate holiday company. The customer service team were awful, and would shout down the phone at my partner and was quite aggressive towards her. Extremely unhelpful during the whole experience. I advise people to stay away from these types of companies. As it’s probably too good to be true. They’re still expecting the £400 to be paid through Klarna. Tried to cancel through Klarna but they declined it.

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience booking the £129 “mystery holiday.” Initially, I was informed that the destination would be Spain, which was acceptable. However, the following day I was contacted and told that Spain was no longer available, and the destination had been changed to France.

While I understand the concept of a “mystery holiday,” this change came with an unexpected additional cost of £179 per person, on top of the original £129. This significantly increased the total price to over £400, which I do not believe represents good value—especially as the same trip could likely be booked independently for less without involving a third party.

I contacted the travel company to request either a refund or an alternative destination, as I was not willing to pay the increased cost for a location I had not agreed to. Unfortunately, this was not resolved to my satisfaction.

Overall, I would not recommend this deal. The lack of transparency and unexpected additional costs made this a disappointing and frustrating experience.

I ended up shouting at my phone are you actually human! You aren't answering any of my actual questions and just says sorry for any inconvenience. What inconvenience you haven't answered me.
So don't try and complain, they ignore you and the question when you've supposedly got hold of a human and not a bot. They know you'll just give up exasperated

Contacted wowcher on my return from trip to Prague. My weekend break was through one of their merchants. The merchant booked my break for the date requested but unbelievable that they booked my flight and my hotel stay a month apart so i had to pay for the hotel again on my arrival as receptionist discovered why he couldnt find our reservation. I asked wowcher to speak to a customer representative over a month ago but all ive had is chat with AI which is a joke. The merchant promised me a refund over a month ago im still waiting. Wowcher have not responded in person which is seriously disappointing as i book quite regularly overnights etc. I feel ive no option but to contact the ombudsman. I doubt i will book anything again through wowcher.

I have purchased a voucher for a holiday and have a finite window to redeem. However, I have forgotten my password. The password reset link is faulty and keeps sending me back to the homepage before I can reset.
I have spent all day messaging on WhatsApp and email and just keep being sent the reset email link. The AI system is deeply frustrating and cannot understand this simple problem.

Why can I not talk to a human being who can help me resolve this. I have spent a significant amount of money that I cannot now redeem. Absolutely shocking customer service process causing unnecessary customer stress and detriment. Will not be using Wowcher again.
