I paid for a Hammam experience for My partner and I at a local Hammam. It was a surprise as part of our 32 yrs anniversary.I tried to redeem it but had problems initially as there were no clear instructions as to how to do this. The amount paid was visible as a deduction in my bank account but the purchase did not appear in ‘My Wowcher account purchases.I rang the venue directly and was told that they redeemed the voucher but could not do so unless given a 12 digit ( 6 dash 6) code. There was no 12 digit code on the gift voucher I’d sent to my partner.I turned to Wowcher for help to resolve the problem. There is no direct access to customer Service ( if they have one). Contact was by WhatsApp. It’s been almost 4 wks since ny initial enquiry. I’ve received exactly the same txt from ‘Cher’, their VA; requests to send the same personal data I’ve asked to speak to ‘ a human’ with no response to date. I’m worried that I am going to lose my payment. It’s exasperating, time consuming, so unprofessional. The worst customer service ( or lack of) that I’ve experienced in over 40 odd years as a paying customer- anywhere!!!
