Difficult one to review. Wowcher indemnifies itself from dodgy sales by selling vouchers that let you then buy the thing from someone else. They don't make it particularly clear who. There are some really spammy practices in there too. From the website, I hated the "Redeem in app" button that installed an app, which then couldn't be used to redeem the voucher. I ended up back on the website in a WebView frame. It's just marketing, because they think the app install will make me more likely to use them again in the future. Down to 4 stars.Things got worse when I tried to redeem. Once I realised is was being sent off to sign terms belonging to some random Gmail address, I wanted a refund. Down to 3 stars. There's no single click refund. You have to contact them, fill out a form with information they gave you in the first place, then send it back to them on a different app (WhatsApp). Down to 2 stars.Ultimately getting a refund was quite simple on WhatsApp and my card was refunded, just 1 day into the 5 day window. Back to 3 stars. Might work for some people or some offers, but not a good experience for me.
