If I could give no stars I would.I purchased a three night trip to Prague with flights for two. On redeeming the vouchers I was contacted by the merchant who then informed me that the hotel advertised wasn’t available (the alternative offered was on the city outskirts rather than the centre) and if I wanted decent flight times I’d have to pay another £419. I asked the merchant to send me the options on email and she insisted on Whatsapping them to me as it would be ‘quicker’ - I’ve never received any further communication from them. I then called the next day for a refund and was told it would be referred to their refunds department. I have emailed the merchant twice about my refund and never received a reply. Over a week later having heard nothing, I rang again and was told the refund was due from Wowcher, not the merchant. Wowcher’s terms clearly state that you can get a full refund if you have redeemed the voucher but not booked anything. I have since contacted Wowcher four times about my refund and they also don’t come back to me. Wowcher / The Travel Makers have almost £500 of my money and I have nothing to show for it and now can’t get a refund either. The holidays are falsely advertised and I’ve read many reviews of people who have had the exact same experience. Edit - I eventually received a refund after three and a half weeks of perseverance.
