I had booked a 4-star getaway for two at a local establishment, which included breakfast, cream tea upon arrival, a bottle of prosecco, and late checkout. Unfortunately, I missed the redemption date for my voucher due to the passing of my mother in mid-December. Grieving her loss has occupied my time as I dealt with her belongings and funeral arrangements. In my previous communication with the support team, I kindly requested a refund or a balance credit to my account as a goodwill gesture due to these unfortunate circumstances. However, I received what seemed like four insensitive automated replies that did not acknowledge my situation at all. I am still waiting for a proper response.
