Absolutely terrible customer service!!!! We were given a wowcher gift deal as a Xmas present which stated a 2 night stay in Oban with breakfast, bottle of Prosecco & early check in. However after we redeemed it & booked in with the guest house I received an email from the guest house saying that there seemed to be some confusion and they had received a number of emails about breakfast being included but that they do not offer breakfast and it is room only. They stated that it was an error made by wowcher on their website. I contacted wowcher (there is no customer service phone number, the only contact point is via WhatsApp) who did not even acknowledge the error, did not accept any responsibility and repeatedly replied “breakfast is not and was never included in this deal” They were not interested in my photo proof or anything that I had to say and replied only with repeated generic responses.I still have the original wowcher email which states clearly breakfast is included. My son would never have bought this deal as a gift if he knew it was room only, he only bought it because it was advertised as with breakfast, I have now passed all the details and photos to the Advertising Standards Authority as proof of false advertising and I would urge anyone else who finds themselves in the same position to do the same. Absolutely ridiculously bad customer service!! I nor any other member of my family will ever use wowcher or living social again.
