I vacated my apartment booked through the platform on 1 July 2025. Nearly six months later, my €2,385 deposit has yet to be returned. The move-out was conducted properly: keys were returned, self check-out was submitted, full photo documentation was uploaded, and no damages were noted. Initially, the company confirmed that deposit refunds typically take 3–4 weeks. Since then, I have followed up several times and even sent a formal written reminder. The only response I receive is that they have “reminded the landlord again,” with no concrete action or payment date. The landlord/property management has ceased all communication after repeatedly assuring repayment. I am now being represented by a local tenants’ association. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and stressful. I would strongly advise others to be cautious regarding deposit issues when using this service.
