This a truly great company. The handle on the kitchen knife I bought around twenty years had cracked and was completely broken. Much to my surprise when I asked Wusthof if it could be repaired they gathered all the facts from me asking for photos and the history of the knife from date of purchase and then told me they would send me a brand new replacement!! Incidentally, the knife blade is made from top quality steel. It sharpens beautifully and there are no notches or roughness on the blade. A knife of the quality is not cheap but it is certainly worth the price. I can strongly recommend Wusthof.
