I was thinking of buying something, so put an item in my basket but hadn’t gone through with the purchase. I received a text message reminding me it was in my basket and saying to stop receiving messages text ‘stop’. I didn’t want them to send me any messages so I text ‘stop’ as they said. A few days later received my phone bill which had an extra charge of 46p.Turns out it was for texting the ‘stop’ message! Why should I be paying any money at all just to stop them sending me messages that I never signed up for in the first place?!Definitely won’t be going through with my purchase now.
