He told me to sleep on it and never pressured me into spending any money (which, as a former car salesperson, felt amazing). My sister will now use Ben's to have her bike repaired and I'd send anyone there without hesitation. Oh, they have a shop dog too, which is amazing

We've heard the stories from both customers and customer’s friends who have been steered in a wrong direction in a bike sale. Maybe it's because the shop didn't carry the type of bike they wanted, had a particular model they needed to liquidate or maybe they didn't have the right size in stock, but still wanted the sale.
That is definitely not the way to treat a new bike customer or any customer. A shop like that isn't concerned about your need or comfort on a bike; they just wanted a sale. Once you’re out the door...its money in their cash drawer and they're on to the next.
