I took her to my regular vet who said that she had pancreatitis AND a platelet problem that she and a pathologist she consulted decided was probably Leukemia. She sent me to BluePearl Pet Hospital in Irvine Ca where they could do an ultrasound and had Oncology specialists.Dr. Kyley N. Olson took Glory in to the hospital. She said that she needed to see bone marrow aspiration. When I decided that I didn't want to subject a 14 year old dog to painful procedures, she sent Glory home at 10 PM with a $900 bill. After I got home I got the invoice for the bill in an email. It included:Cyclosporine (Atopica) 50mgCaps(15ct) Dr. Kyley N. Olson, DVM 2.00 $186.89Cyclosporine (Atopica) is given to combat itching and rashes. She has not been Itching. She didn't scratch before Dr Olson saw her; she hasn't scratched since I got her home, and I haven't given her the Cyclosporine (Atopica). Glory has Leukemia and Pancreatitis. She still lies on the floor without moving, doesn't want to eat. She does drink and will go out to pee. She doesn't scratch.But Dr Olsen and BluePearl got my $186.89. Glory got nothing.Absolutely do not go to BluePearl in Irvine Ca. Do not let Dr. Kyley N. Olson, DVM anywhere near your pets.
