My partner and I went to have lunch at Carluccio's in Beverley, East Yorkshire, at the weekend. We both had the chicken saltimbocca and arancini starter, with a basket of breads and olives. He ordered cider and it was an Italian variety - very light, pale and sweet, but lovely.Fantastic quality food and great customer service. There are only a few negatives that I can recall. One is that the restaurant's music is a bit too loud, so you almost have to shout to be heard when the place is jam-packed. The other is that it's a bit expensive, but as it's premium Italian food, that's passable for a special meal or to treat yourself now and then.
