In 2021 I enrolled in a Master's Program for Applied Behavioral Analysis, 16 months later I was 1 class and my capstone away from completing the Master's, or so I thought. I took a close look at my transcripts and was concerned to see that all my classes had titles starting with PSY instead of ABA. I thought it was possible NCU considered ABA a part of Psychology, so I called up to confirm because my student ID stated I was in a ABA Master's Program. I found out at that point that "NO" I was not almost done with a Master's in Applied Behavioral Analysis, I was one class away from a Master’s in General Psychology! I insisted on being switched to the correct Master's Program and have since completed the correct Master's ( on my own steam and perseverance). Towards the end of the my Master’s program I had difficulty getting in touch with my Professor's when I had questions about assignments and could not get a response from my advisor either! I have spent 6 months alone being passed back and forth among the faculty trying to simply get an answer concerning how to complete the Master’s in General Psychology just to find out that they added 6 extra courses to the end of the degree and am still waiting to hear if they are planning on making me pay for a degree they enrolled me in without my approval. I want to complete the course since I have already taken 6 of the now 12 courses they require but am getting the run around just finding out what those courses are. BEWARE TO ANYONE TRYING TO GET A DEGREE FROM THIS INSTITUTE!
