The company was having a refer-a-friend $15 off promotion on their site, so I decided to buy my USD $30 product off there. I also entered a promotion code in which gave me a free sample. My total order came to $24 (including shipping and taxes). Once I confirmed my order, my confirmation page suddenly showed that the $15 promotion discount did not apply. In addition, once I checked my bank statement, I noticed they charged me over CAD $51. After going through ~ 6 emails with a representative that was extremely rude and accused me of not taking into account "currency changes" and international shipping or whatever (which does not magically sky rocket your price from $30 CAD to $51), he said that if I was to return the product, I would have to pay the shipping and would only receive a $15 refund on my $51 overpriced payment. Once I said that I will be either getting my full money back or what the charge needed to be from my bank, a new person replied and said that it was their mistake and would change my charge within a week. Once I checked again, I noticed that they still overcharged me, but by this time CAD $3. It's like the company can't make simple calculations. I haven't tried the products yet and am not merely as excited as I was. If the products work for me, I will be purchasing it from Sephora and not directly from their dull company.
